The Florida500 is a 530-mile, single-stage UltraCycling event that spans the length of Florida, from Jacksonville to Key West. Riders face extreme physical and mental demands with little rest, making it a true test of endurance.

For Brandon Bruce, known for setting ambitious goals and embracing challenges, this ride represents far more than a physical feat. It is a stand against a disease that robs individuals of their memories, independence, and sense of self, while placing an enormous emotional strain on families and caregivers.

Pedal for Alzheimer’s, Ltd. is a 501c3 non-profit charitable platform committed to organizing cycling events to raise money, create awareness, and provide education towards the mission of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s. The Pedal for Alzheimer’s organization was founded in 2017.

I’ve been honored to be selected this year as an ambassador for Pedal for Alzheimer’s. This opportunity means a great deal to me, and I’m committed to bringing awareness and support to the fight against this devastating disease.

According to the CDC, an estimated 6.7 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease, and that number is expected to rise to nearly 14 million by 2060. It’s a staggering reality—and one that calls for action.

Pedal for Alzheimer’s is dedicated to raising funds, creating awareness, and providing education in pursuit of a cure. As part of my efforts, I’ve set a goal to raise an additional $1,000 for this incredible cause.

We’re excited to announce a new adventure—it’s not just about the miles, it’s about

Midwest VP, John Holcomb, are teaming up to cycle 100 miles at the Elk River Valley

Gran Fondo this August. This event is held in middle Tennessee, about 75 miles

southeast of Nashville, and we need your help to make it count.

This duo is raising money for Pedal for Alzheimer’s, a wonderful 501(c)(3) nonprofit

charitable platform committed to organizing cycling events to spread awareness and

raise funds for Alzheimer’s research, education, support and care. Every dollar brings

us closer to a world where this disease is better understood, managed, and eventually

conquered.

But, this isn’t your typical ride…it’s a race. Holcomb vs. Mason. Mano-a-mano.

Ohio State vs. Michigan. Guy in the casual tee vs guy in the race gear. Who will cross

the finish line first? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure—this race is all in good

fun, and every pedal stroke is for a meaningful cause.

Crisp, a Knoxville entrepreneur and Founder of Solinity, in the senior care living space, is the Founder of Pedal for Pat, a 1,098-mile cycling event created to honor the legacy of the late University of Tennessee women’s basketball coach Pat Summitt, who died of Alzheimer’s in 2016. Crisp founded Pedal for Pat out of a desire to extend the legendary Summitt’s platform by raising awareness and donations for The Pat Summitt Foundation and The Pat Summitt Alzheimer’s Clinic at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Michael Faulk is a cyclist based out of Knoxville, Tennessee. He got into long-distance running over 11 years ago when his dad and best friend was diagnosed with cancer as a way to support him in his fight. Michael's dad lost his hard-fought battle two years later, so he began using his passion for running to honor his legacy by continuing to run marathons while also raising money for different charitable organizations.

Michael found cycling and instantly fell in love with it. He has been cycling for 3 years now.

"While my family has not been directly affected by Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, as a wealth advisor, I have helped many families to whom I am very close navigate the many challenges associated with this awful disease. So, I ride in memory of my dad while doing what I can to help find a cure for this disease." - Michael
