Ryan Needs Your Help After Tragic Fire

My little brother Ryan lost his van and all of his possessions last night in a 3-alarm fire. Luckily he was able to escape and he and his 3 best companions are safe but everything they own and need to live is gone.

As many of you know, he's been without housing for the last decade, living peacefully in his van. Because he is permanently disabled with terminal cancer, he can't work and therefore has no savings.

Ryan was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma in August 2020. It's an extremely rare and incurable cancer that lives in his lungs and liver. He has ongoing experimental treatments at a few different hospitals and is actively participating in research studies at Stanford University hoping to help find a cure for others trying to survive cancer. His van was not only his transportation to the clinics but his entire life.

I'm helping him raise funds to buy the necessities to continue to live safely on the streets of Berkeley, CA.
