Hi! My name is Ryan Keltner, and I’m a Life Scout and Junior at Polytechnic School. For my Eagle Scout Service Project, I am restoring an outdoor relaxation space and garden at Olive View Medical Center, a safety-net hospital that cares for underserved patient populations.
I will be rebuilding a pergola and creating raised garden beds. The original pergola has completely deteriorated, leaving only the metal poles, which we'll clean, repaint, and rebuild using new 10-foot wooden beams. We will also install four raised garden beds and add gravel around the area to make it more functional, safe, and inviting for healthcare workers and patients.
This project will transform a worn-down space into a welcoming outdoor area where the community can relax, garden, and gather. Any donations will go directly toward materials such as lumber, paint, gravel, and hardware needed to complete the project. Your support means a lot to me and the Olive View medical community as we help bring this space back to life!
Thank you!
