Hi, my name is Marina, three years ago, my 39 year old brother-in-law went into kidney failure. He spent a week in the hospital, and after many tests, many doctor visits, he was finally put on Dialysis. At first, he had to go to Oshawa hospital daily where treatment lasted for hours. With a young family, the youngest at the time being only 2 years old, he was finally set up to do dialysis from home.

Present day:

Ryan got a call this morning that a kidney was available to him.

The family rushed to Toronto General and we got the call from the surgeon this evening that the surgery was a success.

Now comes the hard part.

Ryan won't be able to work for approx. 3 months, will have to travel to Toronto General weekly for tests.

Ryan is the sole bread winner of the family as my sister stays home with her children.

They need help paying the mortgage, food, and of course Christmas is just around the corner.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
