In 2015, my life changed. I ventured out of the only place I had ever lived, Wenatchee, Washington, and I moved to China for a year to teach English and serve God—including doing humanitarian work.
I came back to America with a heart full of love for the Chinese people. In 2018, I returned to China—this time, to marry my amazing wife, Chloe. We lived together for a year in China, helping any we could and sharing the good news.
I returned to America to help her get her green card. Little did I know pandemic policies would keep me out of China for three years. Although it remains the toughest country on Earth to enter, Jesus has made a way for us to return. The problem is that airlines are price-gouging because China restricts flights to only a handful.
For the first time in my life, I maxed out a credit card to pay the $9000 in airfare. We're humbled to be here asking for help, but 25% APR is no joke.
We're asking you to consider helping us with whatever you can spare. We envision returning to China to spread hope to the hopeless and will be tending to the poor and equipping many people with English skills out of charity.
Thank you so much for your support during this vast journey.
Love,
Ryan and Chloe Williams
