Ryan Cannon's Eagle Scout Project

My Eagle Scout Project is to revitalize the interior vestibule, stairwell, iron fencing and the main gathering hall of The Guy R. Bosworth American Legion Post 140 located on Main Street in Millburn this February.

This location is also used by American Legion Post 228 from Springfield. The Hall is used for Legion events, community gatherings, and parties for a modest rental fee.

The American Legion is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.

In light of the patriotism of the American Legion members, who are either current service members or veterans of our great country,  who actively support to our community, including the youth of Millburn, it is my honor to pay these heroes back by revitalizing their Hall.

I truly appreciated your financial support in helping me pay it forward to our service member and veterans.

~ Ryan
