Helping the children in Nepal - My journey to the Himalayas

Hello everyone

I’m excited to share with you all that I’ll embark on a truly special journey to the Himalayas this summer. I’ll be traveling with my school, St. Edwards School Oxford, to help make a real difference in the lives of children in Nepal.

During this trip, I’ll be involved in several impactful projects. I’ll be cleaning the water desalination tanks, teaching English to the children, and helping to build new classrooms for their local school. These projects are significant because they provide the foundation for a better, healthier, and brighter future for these kids.

This trip means so much to me, as it’s a chance to combine two things I’m deeply passionate about: helping others and protecting the environment. Growing up in New York City and attending a prestigious boarding school in Oxford, I’ve learned how privileged we are. We often take for granted things that others worldwide could only dream of—access to clean water, education, and the resources to succeed. I feel that this is a powerful opportunity for me to give back and use the privilege I’ve been fortunate enough to experience to help those who are less fortunate.

I’m raising money to support this mission because, while we’re going to help, we also want to raise awareness about the realities so many worldwide face. The money we raise will go directly toward restoring schools in Nepal and providing books, clothes, food, and other essential resources for the children. With your support, we can help give these children a chance at an equal opportunity in life—just like many of us have had.
