Our family is seeking help to keep this family afloat due to our daughter Karleen having had multiple blood clots on the brain which caused her to have strokes this past 3 weeks. Karleen has lost some physical abilities and reasoning skills. Her doctors are optimistic though.She is also suffering from depression through all of this, not knowing how she will take care of her family in the mean

time. Karleen is mobile with the help of a walker and occupational therapy is being set up by her doctors. Karleen did have full-time employment until January of this year. Her data analyst job ended in January. Karleen is raising a 15-year-old and has her 24-year-old daughter and 5-year-old grandson living with her. She helped her daughter through a difficult divorce last year which took the savings she had. Her daughter is employed as a teller at a credit union and contributes a little financial help but it is not enough to pay the living expenses. At this time her doctors have her out of work for a minimum of 4 months. There is no money left to pay her monthly bills for this period. My husband Joe and I as her parents have done all we can to keep this family afloat to this point. We are retired and living on a fixed income. Please open your hearts and help this family of 4. Karleen is a wonderful and generous woman who has never asked for help before this. As her parents, we will continue to take her to doctor appointments and get her medications. This family needs help to survive. Please give whatever small amount you can so this family can remain in their rented home. All funds raised will be used to pay rent, groceries, electric and water.
