My friend George has fallen on some hard times.  He grew up in Pasadena, served in the Navy graduated from UCLA married his sweetheart and moved to Santa Clarita.
Sadly about 15 years ago his wife died of cancer.  They had no kids and he was alone here. He did a reverse mortgage on his home and was getting along ok.  Until he broke his hip and the medical bills started coming in.  He is behind on his tax so the mortgage company paid them and now they want their money. 
We've come up with a plan for him to get a room mate but he has to get current with the mortgage company.  This is live changing for him.
Please do anything that you think you can to keep George in his home.
At 78 he is not young enough to be couch surfing!!!
