Hello! My name is Lynn and I'm doing a GofundMe for my sister, Ruth. Ruth's husband, Dave, died in July 2021. Because of a technicality, Ruth did not receive any Life Insurance. Ruth and Dave did not have any money in the bank. Dave left Ruth with $46,000 in debt that she knew nothing about until after Dave's passing. Ruth's house was built in the early 1950s and is in tremendous disrepair. Her electrical panel is the original and is an obvious fire hazard. Her pipes are leaking and many need to be replaced. Her most immediate concern is heat. Ruth hasn't had heat in her house since last February. She now has a new oil tank but needs to have it installed. Then, of course, she'll need oil. Her daughter and I are trying our best to help Ruth, but we've realized that it's just too much for us to handle on our own. While her bills and other repairs are of great concern, we'd like to focus on getting her some heat for the winter, first and foremost.
