Russell's Legacy: Cultivate Tomorrow's Stewards

In honor of Russell Edward Jones...Russ had an amazing life that was cut short way too soon. In his 48 years, he managed to be: a 3rd degree black belt, Mason, licensed landscape designer, police/SWAT, Army Ranger, beekeeper, hobby farmer, and his final career- pilot/flight instructor. Despite all of these achievements, he was not just a wonderful husband and father, but family came first with so many adventures and just time spent together. The thing that made him so special was not just his kindness, but his selflessness and his desire not only to make himself a better person, but to leave the world a better place and to be a good steward of our land. To him, it was not only important to give back to the community, but help future generations grow to be strong leaders, to not be afraid hard work, and to appreciate the bounties of the earth. There was never a child's fundraiser that went unsupported.

Although, Russell was taken from us so unexpectedly, we wanted his legacy to live on in the form of a youth agricultural sponsorship in honor of him. In leau of flowers, we ask for donations in his name to start a sponsorship program in our local rural community, here in Lafayette, Ga to help grow and educate our next generation to become stewards in their own right and leave the world a better place.
