Hi Everyone!

My name is Krista Johnson and I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend, Katie Kimble (Davis), whose dad and stepmom just lost everything in a house fire.

On 11/3/2025, multiple fire companies and EMS personnel rushed to a second alarm structure fire at Russ and JoAnn's home in Ramey, PA. Fortunately, they were not home at the time that the fire started, and it is unknown at this time what caused the fire. While Russ did own his home, they did not have homeowners insurance and they lost everything in the fire. On top of this, in July, Russ broke his hip, had a hospital stay, and was undergoing rehab, which has racked up medical expenses as well.

Katie has a very short-term housing solution for Russ and JoAnn, but we are attempting to raise money at this time to get them back on their feet and into an apartment or home. Appropriate agencies are being contacted to help arrange this.

Eventually, we will be looking for possible donations for clothing and household items, but finding a stable residence is our first priority. We will update everyone when we have further details of clothing sizes and items needed if willing to donate.

We also want to thank all the fire companies and EMS personnel for their quick response and assistance. Also, to those who came to check to see if Russ or JoAnn were home at the time and called 911.
