Hello friends, I met an amazing woman while on Safari in Kenya last summer. She is the hotel manager at Sarova Stanley in Nairobi. She and I met while she was on shift and instantly connected talking about our lives and our desires to work with people. I learned she has started an organization called Rural Women in Modern Agriculture that supports women (many are widowed) with skills in farming so they can support their families and pay for uniforms so their children can attend school. I feel such a sisterhood with these women and their stories of strength during challenges with drought, obtaining drinking water, and being able to provide for their children.
