My name is Alaa Al-Jabour from Gaza, the land of death and destruction. I am collecting donations for my family and providing them with food and medicine. Our house was bombed over our heads, and all of my family members were injured, including my mother and father, whose injuries were the most serious. If it weren't for God's grace, we would all have been killed. My leg was amputated, and I can no longer perform many of the tasks I used to do. I can no longer work to buy medicine for my family and myself, or to buy milk for my young son, Baraa. I hope that you, the people of compassionate hearts, will support me and be my support so that I don't feel like I've lost a limb. I can provide for my family and build a new home, protecting me from the scorching summer and the cold winter, instead of a life in tents filled with humiliation, hardship, and misery. I hope that I can achieve my biggest dream of being fitted with a prosthetic limb to help me continue my life and move forward toward a better tomorrow for me and my family.
