Running for Heroes

I have been given the opportunity to run the 2014 Boston Marathon to raise money for the Lieutenant Walsh - Fire Fighter Kennedy Memorial Fund and I would like to ask for your support. The tragic events on 3/26/14 will never be forgotten by the city of Boston, the BFD, our friends and most importantly, the families of Mike Kennedy & Ed Walsh.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mike since my juvenile delinquent days growing up in the 02131 which he so proudly represented. There are so many great memories and laughs that we shared over the years and I will carry those with me for the rest of my life. I am truly honored to be running for Mike and I will be thinking of him every step of the 26.2 miles I run / jog / walk / drag myself across that finish line.

I am late in the game, and by late I mean 2 weeks to train and 1 week to raise as much money as possible for the families. I would really appreciate your support. The Boston Athletic Association granted a small amount of numbers and has waived the entrance fee so that all of the money donated will go directly to the Lieutenant Walsh - Fire Fighter Kennedy Memorial Fund, pretty awesome of the BAA so please help & donate.

Thank you all
