This year, running the Tokyo Marathon is more than just crossing a finish line—it’s about earning my final star to complete the 6 World Marathon Majors. After years of dedication, Tokyo is the last star I need, and I want this achievement to stand for something bigger than myself: supporting refugees through UNHCR.

With so much conflict in the world, any of us could one day be forced to leave everything behind. Millions of people—families and children—are searching for safety and hope after losing their homes to war.
