I’m raising money in memory of my grandads, John and Don, my nan, Pat, and my partner’s nan, Sylvia.
Losing Don, John, Pat, and Sylvia has been incredibly hard for our families.
Don was a firefighter, dedicating his life to saving others and helping people in their time of need, Pat was a loving nan who always looked after everyone, and Sylvia passed away in 2024, leaving a huge loss for my partner.
They are all deeply missed.
My grandad John suffered a heart attack, and thanks to the support, research, and care made possible by the British Heart Foundation, both he and my nan were given the help they needed to recover at the time.
John also spent his working life building ships for the Navy, serving others in his own way, and we are incredibly grateful for the support charities like the BHF provide.
To honour all four of them, I am running the Brighton Marathon on 12th April to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation, who support families through some of the hardest moments of their lives and help save lives every day through vital research and care.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help support this important work. Thank you for helping me honour my grandads and nans and support a cause that means so much to our families ❤️
