I'm Rashel and I'm running the 2026 Tokyo Marathon on behalf of Pride House Tokyo!

Pride House Tokyo aims to raise awareness of LGBTQ issues through the creation of hospitality spaces, hosting of events, and production of diverse content. Pride House Tokyo Legacy is Japan's first permanent LGBTQ center.

For me, running and queerness are inherently connected. Running has given me a space where I can be authentically myself. I strive to provide others with this experience. As global attacks on the LGBTQ+ population increase, it is critical to provide safe spaces where queer people can simply exist.
