A Marathon to Give Palestinian Children a Little Hope!

Hello friends and family,

In November, I will be taking on a challenge that has both excited and terrified me: running my very first full marathon at the Standard Chartered Marathon in Hanoi. It's a journey that will push me to my limits, but it's a challenge I’m committed to because it serves a cause that is deeply close to my heart.

As I train and prepare for this marathon, I've encountered small injuries, setbacks and obstacles that have come close to breaking me. But when I think about the struggles faced by countless children and families in the Palestinian territories, the miles ahead seem more bearable.

The images of babies and young children enduring unimaginable hardships, hunger, and lack of basic necessities are heart-wrenching. I feel compelled to do something more than just run. I want to make a real difference.

That’s why I’ve chosen to dedicate my marathon effort to raising funds for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). UNRWA is a beacon of hope for millions of vulnerable people, providing essential services such as healthcare, education, and emergency relief.
