Running the Hackney Half to raise money for Abigail House

Grace, Eleri and Borja are running their first half marathon on May 19th 2024.

We are fundraising for Abigail House in memory of our wonderful aunt, Lucy Booth. Abigail House is a charity that provides support and homes to refugees and asylum seekers in Bradford and Leeds. Lucy had volunteered for Abigail House since 2018 and was a highly valued member of their team. Lucy was a remarkable and inspirational person. She was full of compassion and a desire to help those in need matched by an ability to listen and a willingness to do the hard work to make a practical difference in people's lives.

We hope to continue her legacy by raising money for this brilliant charity that she was so committed to.
