Cancer Research UK is a charity that's incredibly close to my heart, and I'm sure many of you have your own reasons for supporting this cause too.

On the 11th October this year, I'll be taking on the Chester Marathon to raise money in memory of my Nan and friend, while helping to fund life saving research, improve treatments, and bring hope to future generations.

I'm now halfway through my marathon training, and every week brings a new challenge. I completed a half marathon at the end of June, and since then I've been building up the miles, pushing myself further with every run. Knowing I'm running for such an important cause keeps me motivated, even on the toughest training days.
