Running Leeds Marathon to Support NY&CI

Hi, I’m Sam Cowperthwaite, Youth and Play Coordinator at Netherley Youth and Community Initiative, and I’m running the Leeds Marathon on May 11th, 2025, to raise vital funds for our charity. Our mission is to offer support to young people in our community, particularly those from deprived backgrounds, through a wide range of services like open access youth clubs, food banks, and events.

As part of my role, I help to provide a safe space where young people can grow, learn, and thrive, and I also work with a team to deliver essential services like food pantries and life-changing courses. The funds raised through this marathon will directly benefit the young people and families who rely on our charity.
