Running Rome Marathon 2024, for Stamp Out Suicide

Hi Everyone, I'm Jordan and ill be running the Rome Marathon on 17th March 2024 to raise much needed funds for Stamp Out Suicide.

My Goal for this Marathon is sub 3 hours. For every minute I go over 3 hours, I will donate £10 of my own money.

Stamp out suicide is a free phone line counselling service that is accessible to anyone in the UK and their aim is to support as many people as they possibly can. They aren't backed by the government and to be honest, they never know month on month whether they'll be able to keep saving lives.

Some of my mates have done fundraisers for Colm before (Founder), and they couldn't speak highly enough of him. After a 30 minute Phone call, I can safely say Colm is the most selfless person I've had the pleasure of speaking too.

It doesn't matter what time of day it is. If Colm's phone rings, he's answering it, and helping those who need it most. Him and his small team have single handedly saved 100's of lives since creating Stamp out suicide in 2014. To quote Colm "It's so easy to just answer the phone if someone needs help, and just talking to them"

A bit about Colm's story.

In 2011, he decided to walk across every county in Ireland. It took him 5 months, and he raised over 100k for charity in the process.

In 2014, he walked across every county in the UK, this took him 11 months, raising thousands again in the process. And has worked tirelessly since, making himself available for those who want to take their own life.
