Running Rome for Mumba Children's Project
In March 2025, I will be running the Rome Marathon to raise funds for a cause very close to my heart – the Mumba Children’s Project. This charity was founded in 2004 by Hildah Mulenga, following the tragic loss of her son. Hildah turned her grief into a powerful mission, dedicating her energy to supporting vulnerable children in Africa, particularly in Mpongwe, Zambia.
The Mumba Children’s Project provides essential resources like food, clean water, education, and healthcare to children who need it the most. By offering at least one meal a day and improving access to basic necessities, the charity is changing lives and giving hope to countless children.
I am inspired by Hildah's strength and the incredible impact this charity has on communities both in Africa and the African diaspora. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to supporting their ongoing work and ensuring that these children have the chance to thrive.
Please consider donating to help me reach my fundraising goal. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in the lives of the children who benefit from the Mumba Children’s Project.
Thank you for your support!
