I am running Manchester half marathon in October for St Mary’s care centre, I am doing this in memory of my beautiful Nana who sadly passed away in January 2025.

My Nana use to go into St Mary’s whenever my mum went away. She use to speak very highly of them and how amazing they were with her. In the last few weeks of my Nana's life she got taken into St Mary’s where they where not only amazing with my Nana and making her last few days as comfortable as possible but us as a family too, allowing us to visit whenever and feel at ease as possible with the care she was receiving.

I am doing this as a thank you as I know it’s something she would love to be able to do and us as a family want to it too.
