Running LDN marathon to raise money for Sickle Cell Suffolk

Hi, my name is Callum and in April, I’ll be taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life: running the London Marathon.

26.2 miles. One goal. And a cause that truly matters.

I’m running to raise money for Sickle Cell Suffolk which supports people living with this serious and often misunderstood genetic blood condition. Sickle cell affects thousands of people in the UK, causing severe pain, fatigue, infections, and complications that can impact every part of daily life.

It’s something they live with every single day.

While my marathon will be tough, it’s important to remember this:

I get to choose this challenge. People with sickle cell do not.

This not-for-profit organisation does vital work—supporting patients and families, raising awareness, advocating for better care, and helping people live fuller, healthier lives despite the challenges they face. Their work changes lives, and they can only do it with support.

Every mile I run will be powered by the people I’m running for.

Every donation—no matter the size—will help support their services, education, and hope for those affected by sickle cell.

If you’re able to donate, share, or simply cheer me on, it would mean more than I can say. Together, we can turn one marathon into something much bigger.

Thank you for supporting me, and thank you for supporting this incredible cause.
