I’m running a half marathon to raise money for Kasia and others living with Spina Bifida a condition that affects the spine and requires lifelong care, rehabilitation, and specialist equipment.
Kasia is a much-loved member of our family and community. Her journey has been supported by many, and now I’m doing my part to raise awareness and vital funds for those who need it most.
This fundraiser supports a small but dedicated charity, where every single penny goes directly towards helping children and families affected by Spina Bifida.
Please sponsor my run and help us make a difference, one step at a time.
Every donation counts.
Thank you so much

A little note from Kasia:
Hi! My name is Kasia. I was born with Spina Bifida, a condition that affects my spine and means I use a wheelchair. Life can bring extra challenges, from daily medical needs to regular rehabilitation and costly specialist equipment—but I try to live it as fully and happily as I can.
I’m incredibly lucky to be surrounded by a family and community who always show up with love, encouragement, and practical support. Together, they’ve helped me face every hurdle and now, one of them, my aunty Tanya, is lacing up her trainers to run a half marathon to help raise awareness and funding for people living with Spina Bifida.
But this fundraiser isn’t just for me.
Our goal is to support others living with this condition—especially children and families who may be facing these challenges for the first time. Rehabilitation, equipment, and ongoing care can be incredibly expensive, and for a small charity like ours, every single donation helps change lives.
This run is a contribution to a much bigger effort—one filled with compassion, resilience, and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to thrive, no matter their circumstances.
If you can sponsor Tanya’s run, you’ll be part of something significant. Whether it’s a little or a lot, your support will help someone get the care and opportunities they need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It all counts.
