My place of work (Equifax, INC) has a matching program. We have 50 runners or so raising money to support a local non profit Helping Mama's please checkout! https://helpingmamas.org/

This hit home to me as when I was young boy my Mama and my baby brothers were in need and Single Parent is tough thing indeed. This org helps Single Moms with much needed support.

My company will allow ALL fundraising proceeds (up to 10,000 dollars!) to be matched and I thought I could try to ask my friends and family to help support.

I understand it is a little unconventional to do a fundraiser this method instead to do a fundraiser that money will go directly to Helping Mama's.

The reason why is this:

Internally at work we do have a Corporate Link and fundraising page that due to security reasons i cannot share outside of work..

ALL collected I WILL collect and donate to the Internal Fundraiser and DOUBLE it with Corporate match!.

Not only am I running a hilly 13.1 Miles early on March 2nd (Publix ATL Marathon) I will put up a 150 (300 once matched) myself to start the Kitty!
