What started as a personal goal to run a marathon sees me combining that to raise funds for an unbelievable cause, Reubens Retreat.

As a parent myself, the story behind this amazing charity is heartbreaking. But the work Reubens Retreat do is truly inspiring.

I was fortunate enough to volunteer there for a day. Seeing what they do first hand opened my eyes into the heartbreak and distress that those affected experience, and the unbelievable work they do to support those families.

Reubens Retreat was founded in 2012 after the loss of Reuben Graham, who was 23 months old. Their mission is to relieve the distress of families who have suffered the loss of a child or have a child living with medical complexities.
