Running a Marathon for Play Marin

Hi! My name is Charlie Osborn and I just graduated from Tamalpais High School. The past few months have been a challenge for everyone, but I am amazed by the resiliency and inspiration I have seen in everyone I know. 

I have decided to run a marathon on June 19th to raise money for Play Marin. 

Play Marin is a local non-profit working to achieve stronger diversity and inclusion in Marin County. They have achieved this by starting programs to help kids from low income families to participate in extra curricular activities to bring the community together. With recent events, Play Marin has turned to providing meals for families in the Canal District and Marin City. This helps to support local restaurants struggling to stay afloat and provide healthy meals to families who can’t always afford it.

I am asking my friends and family to sponsor me at one dollar per mile (26.2 miles!).  However, anything you are willing and able to donate is greatly appreciated and can go a long ways!  It’s during times like this that we have to come together as a community and show our support for one another. I know that we can create the positive change that we want to see in our world! Thank you for your support!
