Running for Matt: Milton Keynes Marathon

I’m excited to be taking part in the Milton Keynes Marathon on May 5, 2025, in support of the Matt Gallagher Foundation. Matt and I were work colleagues from 2006 - 2013, and it’s truly inspiring to see the impact his foundation is making. Running this marathon is my way of supporting the incredible work being done for families affected by motor neurone disease.

The Matt Gallagher Foundation, (https://mattgallagherfoundation.org) is a charity committed to supporting individuals living with Motor Neurone Disease in the Midlands, as well as their families. The foundation provides practical assistance, such as funding stairlifts, adapting homes with wet rooms, or contributing to dream holidays that create lasting memories with loved ones. Recognising the urgency of these needs, the foundation aims to make swift decisions, ensuring that those affected receive timely support without the delays often experienced with larger organisations.
