Running the Tokyo Marathon for Postpartum Care for all Families
On March 1, I’ll be running the Tokyo Marathon, one of the six star world marathons. This will be my 4th!
I will be running for a charity with deep personal meaning.
I’m raising funds for Madre Bonita, a Japan-based nonprofit committed to supporting postpartum care for all families. Their mission resonates with me on every level, not just as a runner, but as a mother.
I’m the proud mom of two daughters, and I know firsthand the emotional, physical, and mental demands of becoming a parent. Those early days are transformative, but they can also be isolating and overwhelming. Every family deserves compassionate care during that critical time, yet many go without it.
That’s why I chose Madre Bonita. Their work ensures that parents don’t have to navigate the postpartum period alone.
I’m honored to support their mission with every mile I run.
If you believe in strong families, healthy moms, and equitable care, I hope you’ll consider supporting my fundraising goal. Every dollar goes directly to Madre Bonita and helps build a more supportive world for new parents.
Thank you for being part of this journey and the support ❤️
