Running for Hyde Square Task Force

On June 22, I will run Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota! I am excited to be embarking on this challenge, but am even more overjoyed to be raising funds for Hyde Square Task Force (HSTF).

I have had the privilege of working at HSTF for the past year, and since then, I have seen first-hand the impact of this organization. For those who don’t know, the non-profit’s mission is to amplify the power, creativity, and voices of youth, connecting them to Afro-Latin culture and heritage so they can create a diverse, vibrant Latin Quarter and build a just, equitable Boston. HSTF serves over 450 Boston youth ages 6-25 annually through academic support, college & career preparation, arts & cultural enrichment, leadership development & community organizing, and community-building events & activities.
