Running for Hope - Inverness 10k in memory of my sister
On 5th August 2024, I lost my wee sister to suicide. She was just 51.
That day—and the year that followed—was filled with heartbreak and sadness. Finding her was the beginning of one of the darkest periods of my life.
But in the midst of that pain, I reached out to The Neuk, a crisis support centre in Perth that offers 7-day-a-week, walk-in support. No referrals. No fees. No waiting list. Just compassionate, immediate help. Their support has helped me begin to rebuild.
Now, one year later, I’m running the Inverness 10K in Susan's memory. I want to honour her life and raise funds to help The Neuk continue supporting others through grief, trauma, and mental health struggles.
Your donation will go directly to The Neuk and help offer hope and healing to those who feel lost, just like I did. Every pound makes a difference.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for helping. And thank you for standing with me in memory of my sister.
