In true Gos Kerrigan style.... if we told him we were planning to run a race, he would laugh at us and say, I'll meet ye at the finish line for a pint!

Next Saturday, Oct 4th, Roy will take on the Full Marathon (42km), and Gill and Sadie will complete the 10km race in memory of Gos and to raise funds for the Edenderry Community First Responders.

Lloyd will also complete the Full Marathon for his chosen charity with Roy. They began their running journey 24 weeks ago and have trained hard together in preparation.

We choose the race in Galway as it hold a special place in our hearts and a place we remember our best friend Derrick Cronin, he too would be at the finish line with Gos to greet us with a pint.

To keep us motivated and on track, we choose to complete the race to raise funds for Edenderry Community First Responders. They have done amazing work in Edenderry over the 2 years they have been established.

The First Responders were the first guys to Gos on that morning in May 2023, and we couldn't have asked for a better team that worked so hard to try to save him. We are forever grateful for their support and commitment to our community.

Right in the middle of our life, on an ordinary day, the unthinkable happened. Everything went from ordinary to chaotic and there we stood in the mess of it all, knowing there will now forever be a before and after.
