Club rafiki is a community youth centre that provides young Rwandans with the opportunity to harness their potential, pursue their dreams and contribute to the community, fostering a carefree and happy environment.

Noah Wheen and Daniel Ferguson are setting out to raise money to apply further change and progress amongst Kigali’s most cherished community, by running the Lochness Marathon on the 29th September 2024.

We are fundraising specifically for the female soccer players who currently train bare foot in the boys’ leftover and used kits. We would love to provide new gear for these female athletes to create a platform of greater equality. This will enable the young girls to participate in physical fitness more readily, increasing opportunities for social interaction, encouraging stress relief, and thus mental health in general. We strive to promote gender equality to ensure that all young Rwandans can benefit from this game we all love and enjoy.
