About Cassidy: Cassidy, a 17-year-old aspiring and inspiring young woman from Oakland, Maine, was tragically killed in a hayride accident in the fall of 2014. Her family has created the ShineOnCass Foundation to honor Cassidy by inspiring others to give back, as she did, to their communities through charitable activities.
