Running for Adam: Fighting for Mental Health

My name is Matt Haley. I am a husband, father, friend and devoted Christian. On April 14th, 2023, I lost my brother, Adam Haley, after his courageous 10-year battle with mental health. His story, and the stories of so many others fighting battles unseen, have deeply shaped my life.

On June 8th, 2025, I am running a marathon in Adam’s honor, and for everyone still fighting today.

Throughout May and leading up to race day, I will be raising funds to support the Headstrong Project, a national organization providing mental health care to veterans and military families across the United States. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Headstrong Project. I chose the Headstrong Project as the fundraiser beneficiary because the Organization supports mental health and our veterans. Both are important to me.

This run is for Adam.

This run is for every battle unseen.

This run is for hope.
