Running for a Cause: Help Me Support the Settlement House!

Hello!

My name is Sam Leigh, and on the weekend of April 11th, me and 11 other women will be running approximately 200 miles from San Diego to Huntington Beach, California as part of the Ragnar Relay. I feel incredibly fortunate that I get to be a part of this team and participate in this event. It is not lost on me how extremely lucky I am to have the health, time, money, and support to train for and run in this race. Meanwhile, grocery prices and living expenses are skyrocketing, while mass layoffs are rocking the country, leaving many families to wonder how they are going to meet their basic needs on a daily basis.

The Corona/Norco Settlement House has been a staple in my community for over 100 years. They are a non-profit charitable organization that provides for the temporary emergency needs of the families and individuals who reside within the boundaries of the Corona-Norco School District. They provide food and basic necessities, school supplies, clothing, housing, and so much more.

I’m reaching out to ask for your support. Every dollar donated will go directly to the Settlement House to continue its vital work, ensuring that local families have access to the resources they need to thrive.
