I will be taking part in the 2025 Hornindalsvatnet Marathon on the 26th of July to raise funds for our non-profit company, The Abanya Well, or 'The Sharing Well'.

This is a charity myself and my husband Eoin set up with two good friends from Dublin, Sinead Cunnane and Kathy Lundy. Our aim is to provide access to water for farmers and villagers in Monze, central Zambia, by drilling boreholes and providing water pumps and tanks. With climate change, increased droughts, and cuts to USAID, these rural people are in dire need of our support.

In calling our non-profit, 'The Sharing Well' we hope to focus on how we can share the world's resources to benefit everyone more fairly.

The cost of putting down a borehole and installing a simple pump is around €4,500. We would love your support to help raise these funds for these good people.

Many thanks,
Loveness and Eoin
