Running a Half Marathon For the charity Help Me Learn Africa

Hi, I'm Katie Tunbridge, I'm 20 years old, and this January I’ll be running the Sevilla Half Marathon to raise money for a charity that means the world to me – Help Me Learn Africa.

In the summer of 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Ghana as a volunteer with the charity. During my time there, I helped build a classroom and formed lasting bonds with the local community. It was a truly eye-opening experience that made me realise just how fortunate we are in Gibraltar.

Now, I want to give back. Every penny I raise will go towards supporting the amazing children at the Maranatha School – helping to provide them with essential supplies like food, school equipment, and other basic necessities.
