Running a Half Marathon for Dorward House Care Home

Earlier this year, my Granny Jean moved into permanent care at Dorward House in Montrose, which is a charity run care home with all profits going back into the facility. Prior to this, she’d been in respite in a handful of care homes, and so myself and my family can really appreciate how great Dorward House is, with excellent staff and facilities housed in a lovely home. My Granny is supported by amazing caregivers, and it is the effort made with around-the-clock activities, events and celebrations that makes this home really stand out. With this in mind, I wanted to express my gratitude by raising funds for this care home to give something back and to hopefully allow them to use money raised for something special. I will be running the Glasgow Half Marathon on the 6th of October and any donations would be greatly appreciated for this very worthy cause.
