The 5-14 Half Marathon - Honoring a Buffalo hero

Hey everyone,

On May 14th, 2022, 10 innocent people were gunned down at a Buffalo supermarket in a horrific mass shooting. On May 13th, I'll be honoring the victims by running the 1st Annual 5-14 Half Marathon, which is sponsored by the Lt. Aaron Salter Memorial Scholarship.

Aaron Salter served 30 years in the Buffalo Police Department and heroically gave his life trying to protect the customers & employees at Tops supermarket. All money raised will go to the Lt. Aaron Salter Memorial Scholarship fund, which is giving $5,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from financially disadvantaged families. The scholarship money will be used for books, a laptop, transportation costs and supplies necessary to improve his/her chances of successfully matriculating their freshman year of college.
