Running 36 Hours On Treadmill For Men's Mental Health

This year, I'm taking on a challenge that means a lot to me personally. I'll be running on a treadmill for 36 hours straight to raise awareness for men's mental health.

Last year, I completed a 24-hour treadmill run, and the support I received was incredible. This year, I wanted to push myself even further and continue spreading a message that I believe is so important.

Mental health isn't just a cause I'm supporting – it's something I've lived through myself.

Two years ago, I was at my lowest point. I was struggling badly with my mental health and attempted to take my own life. I tried to hang myself, but the rope snapped. Looking back, that moment changed everything for me. It felt like I had been given another chance. A chance to keep going, to help others, and to make a difference.

Since then, I've made it my mission to support people however I can.

I offer free one-to-one running coaching to help people get started with running, improve their fitness, and build confidence. I've helped people train for races and events, and more importantly, I've helped people find something positive to focus on when life gets tough.

I also started a running club in Bradford city centre because I wanted to create a community where people could come together, make friends, support each other, and improve both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Too many men suffer in silence. Too many feel like they have to deal with everything on their own. I know what that feels like, and that's why this challenge matters so much to me.

For 36 hours, every mile I run will be for those who are struggling, those who feel alone, and those who need to know that there is hope and there is support available.

If my story can help even one person speak up, ask for help, or keep going for another day, then every step will be worth it.

Thank you to everyone who supports me, donates, shares this page, or simply helps spread awareness. Together, we can start more conversations, break the stigma around men's mental health, and remind people that they are never alone.
