Hi everyone!

We are a group of Christian youths from New Life church, and we’re excited to share that we’re running our very first 10K! None of us are experienced runners, and we’ve never taken on a challenge like this before, but we are stepping out in faith and determination to raise funds for something close to our hearts: providing essential kits and home-cooked meals to the homeless.

Why We’re Running

Often times we all get so distracted in our daily lives that we overlook the needs of others. Our faith advocates us to help others as a way of life. Through these acts of love and service, every single one of us can be instruments of transformation in this world, shining God's love in everything we do.

We have seen the struggles faced by the homeless in our community. From battling the elements to finding basic necessities, life on the streets is incredibly tough. That’s why we’ve decided to take action.

We’ll be using the funds raised to create essential kits—including hygiene products, socks, and gloves—and to cook and prepare meals ourselves. By making these items and meals with our own hands, we hope to show love and care to those who need it most, sharing not just supplies, but a sense of hope and dignity.
