Our hearts are broken as we mourn the tragic loss of Stephen, a beloved son, brother, and friend whose life was taken far too soon. He was the most loving and devoted uncle—always there for everyone, but especially Destiny and her daughters. His laughter, kindness, and protective heart will never be forgotten.

In this unimaginable tragedy, we hold onto a miracle. Destiny, my youngest, a single mother was injured in the same shooting but survived and gave birth to her baby boy—born 9 weeks early. This precious little one is a symbol of hope and healing in the midst of heartbreak.
