Join us for RUNAYR24HR, an inspiring 24-hour running event around Wellington Square, Ayr taking place on between 10am on Saturday 31st January 2026 and 10am the following day.

This event will raise vital funds, and awareness, for three separate charities, for all the amazing work that they continue to do. The funds will be split between the charities and also used to purchase of an external Philips HeartStart Defibrillator from BHF.

1) Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland

2) British Heart Foundation

3) The National Autism Society Scotland

We’ll base our RUNAYR HQ at Beastie Brews Coffee Shop, equipped with toilets, water, snacks, medical kits and music to keep the community spirit soaring as we loop the 1km course together.

Our goal? Keep at least one runner on the 1km track for the full 24 hours, with some even trying their best to tackle a 5km every hour (120km total!). But whether you run 5km, 20km, or more - every step counts! You can run whatever distance you want, or are able.

The initial entry fee for any runners is £20 per person, as well as £1 for every kilometre you complete by running/walking, or 50p if cycling. But we encourage everyone to go all out in fundraising - rally your friends, family and networks to raise a substantial amount, no matter how many laps you complete. Every pound makes a difference!

Dedicated volunteers will provide support throughout, ensuring everything runs smoothly, from tracking laps to cheering you on.

They will also record details of all participants and ensure that your efforts are logged via our Strava Team Group. Furthermore, health/liability questionnaires will have to be completed prior to taking part.

You can join us for as long or as little as you like, and cap off the event with our traditional Sunday morning 5km RUNAYR run in the final hour - a perfect way to celebrate our community effort.
