Born in Boston, Anne MacDonald’s life has always been rooted in movement. A competitive dancer growing up, she trained in ballet for over 20 years and began teaching and assisting classes at a young age — discovering early on her passion for helping others grow through mindful, intentional movement.
Anne has been teaching Pilates for three years and now leads sessions on Newbury Street, where she blends strength, alignment, and body awareness to help clients feel empowered and at home in their bodies.
In addition to her work as an instructor, Anne is a Licensed Esthetician with a holistic approach to wellness and self-care. She is deeply passionate about helping others feel strong, confident, and well — inside and out.
Anne lives in Boston’s Back Bay, just steps from the finish line of the Boston Marathon — a daily reminder of her love for movement and personal challenge. She looks forward to crossing the finish line, fulfilling a lifelong dream of completing the race.
Anne is thrilled to be putting her physical and philanthropic efforts to the test, fundraising and training for the Boston Marathon. The Garcia Foundation thrives to help individuals needing education, sponsorships, and mentorship all through Health & Wellness.
