My name is Max Minzenberger and I am doing a 50-mile run in October to raise money for Shane, Kim, Madison, and Henry Harding. Several years ago, I set a goal to do a 50-mile run before I turn 50, and now its time to go for it. Raising money for this deserving family gives me some extra motivation on long training runs.

Over the past 5 years, Shane has been battling Stage 4 cancer. It started in January 2020 with the initial diagnosis followed by surgery to remove it in September 2020. Unfortunately, it came back with a vengeance, and in July 2023, he endured a 13-hour surgery to remove it again, followed up by one in October 2024. During this time, Shane has fought vigorously and put up a strong front for his wife and children. The whole family has been through so much, and that is why as a family, they deserve some much-needed rest and relaxation together.

This fundraiser is a little different than the typical Gofundme. Every dollar raised will help us send The Hardings on a once-in-a-lifetime trip together. Hopefully this will give them a special experience to look forward to and plan together. Shane and Kim are the type of people that I had to beg to let me do this for them. Shane has raised countless dollars for others over the years through the charity golf tournaments he has singlehandedly organized.

So you can do a one-time donation, donate for each mile, or by hours ran. Honestly, I do not care as long as you donate. Every dollar donated will go directly to The Harding Family.
