Hi Friends & Family,

I’m excited to share that I’ll be running my first full marathon—yes 26.2 miles—on February 23, 2025, at the 2025 Cowtown Marathon in Fort Worth, Texas!

About 5 years ago, I took up running as a hobby and quickly fell in love with it. Since then, I’ve completed a 5K, a 10K, and, two years ago, a half marathon. Each milestone has been a testament to growth, perseverance, and resilience. Running taught me that the mind is incredibly powerful. It can push you beyond your physical limits and every run gives me the chance to exercise this.

For this first full marathon, I want it to be more than just a personal achievement. I’m dedicating this race to a cause close to my heart: raising funds for charities supporting orphans, disabled children, and widows in Nigeria. For nearly five years, I’ve made it a personal mission to donate to these causes on my birthday, and now, I want to take it a step further and exponentially grow the impact by bringing more hearts and eyes to the mission.

To make an even greater impact, I will be matching all donations up to $1,700. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference. The funds will be distributed among well established non-profit organizations that have a reputable presence in their communities.
